Avenue Music: Romantique is a Fun-esque Fix this Love by Knocking on Desire's Doorstep!  PhotoCred: @Lady_Zamar on X It first strings you in with such an allure of intimacy as if the bride has stepped into the scene before transitioning to an opening verse that steps to love with each beat and builds up to like a sweetheart writing Cupid a letter for the one who'll sweep her away to Paris. The I wanna fall for you, I Eiffel for you (see what we did there?) how can such a beautiful song make me feel so good and yet so sad? It captures the essence of "I wanna make it work, fight for this love and keep the spark alive" she acknowledges she has the diamonds and the glitter but misses the connection they once had. It sounds so romantic because she's bringing that energy into the effort. A lover in true action! Official Artwork  Lady Zamar has a desire and asks her man to take her to the city of love hoping he'll fall for her, it's an eye...

Pop Essentials: Can't Fake It by Freya Skye, Teen Heartbreak Sounds So Good! Official Artwork. Hollywood Records  I'm not even sad about it, maybe just bitter  I'm not even mad about it maybe a little ... - Freya sings on the verses.  It's charged up and sounds all too familiar like a Hit of course. Freya is opening up on this record, reminiscing and questioning how the relationship went from a dream she couldn't wait for every night to dreading bedtime because it has turned into a nightmare, sonically it's very fresh pop rock with teen energy, she reminds me of Avril Lavigne in a way. The song never gets dull it has replay value and is well written and has a very polished production. The guitar driven verses are so nostalgic and it also gives us an almost updated version of Since You've Been Gone by Kelly Clarkson, big pipes to fill and Freya sounds so much at home, young as she is, she's definitely in control and a powerhouse in the making ...

Actor Appreciation: Kgomotso Christopher - Massive and Incomparable Industry Contributions. Fine art, that's truly gorgeous in storytelling.  @Kgomotso_christopher on IG @kgomotso_christopher on IG She is a South African favourite (married to Calvin Christopher & holds an MFA from Columbia University).  Best known as Katlego Sibeko on Isidingo: The Need where she portrayed the wife of Jefferson Sibeko (Vusi Kunene)  who was sneaky, conniving and cut throat, often siding with him till their marriage hit the banks and sunk, Katlego Sibeko was ambiguous and transitioned into a more loveable character as the story progressed, her feud with Lincoln (Lindani Nkosi) and also her steamy love affair with Calvin Xavier (Maurice Paige) were electric.  She went on to star as Yvonne Thebe-Langa on etv's long running soap opera Scandal! Giving us a campy character with comedic tones, fashion statements, schooled for scheming and a charm you can't deny, ...

Avenue Music: DJ Tuxedo Stuns wíth new single ft. 1KingTshepo & MaHeavy - Number Number  Tsoanelo David Moleko aka DJ Tuxedo  Tsoanelo David Moleko better known as DJ Tuxedo has released his debut single and took to social media to share his excitement. We give this Kickstarter a review and here's what we had to say: It's club ready, atmospheric and fills the room with charisma so everybody takes the invitation to start moving in synch with the beat. It boasts of a good time and gives you African flavour, we appreciate that while it nearly sounds like a classic DJ mix with an oozing intro the steady pace is catchy until an unexpected transition. I was expecting vocals, that's what I anticipated the most yet I appreciate the scattered ad-libs or chants, it adds a nice element to it. Yesterday Tuxedo celebrated his birthday and we say cheer on, cheer on to many more dance Stompers 🥳  We give it a 3.9/5 stars, it's a solid debut.  Download l...
