She is a South African favourite (married to Calvin Christopher & holds an MFA from Columbia University).
Best known as Katlego Sibeko on Isidingo: The Need where she portrayed the wife of Jefferson Sibeko (Vusi Kunene)  who was sneaky, conniving and cut throat, often siding with him till their marriage hit the banks and sunk, Katlego Sibeko was ambiguous and transitioned into a more loveable character as the story progressed, her feud with Lincoln (Lindani Nkosi) and also her steamy love affair with Calvin Xavier (Maurice Paige) were electric.

She went on to star as Yvonne Thebe-Langa on etv's long running soap opera Scandal! Giving us a campy character with comedic tones, fashion statements, schooled for scheming and a charm you can't deny, Yvonne had viewers on edge often making risky decisions that had her in trouble with Neo Mokhethi (Jerry Mofokeng wa Makhetha) or should we say "Bra Moscow" as she called him. Having girl on girl hate with Boniswa Langa (Lusanda Mbane) & her on and off relationship with Siseko Kingsley Langa (Hlomla Dandala) and she eventually moved on to be involved with Lerumo Chabedi (Tshepo Howza Mosese) which was one of the biggest romances on the show.

Having been cast in other productions for global or national audiences she has delivered even as journalist Ramatla Moleleki on SABC 2's acclaimed thriller Thola during its second run. On champions, Dineo Price on Mnet's Legacy. This award winning actress is definitely not just beauty for the magazines, she is able to step into character, tell a story and make it look effortless. We appreciate her contribution in the entertainment industry as one of the figures who keeps us glued to our screens.

You can currently catch her on SABC 1's ratings winner Generations The Legacy which has exceptional writing as Kea Moroka. Weekdays at 20:00 CAT.

Avenue Lifestyle: When Love Is Limited - I Love You, But......

Avenue Lifestyle: He/She Loves Me, But.... Pexels Images/ Jonathan Borba We find falling in love easy, it's like precooked meals you don't get to start from scratch, so this often leads to laziness and complacency. Forget the TV tropes, time to get real, there's no disclaimer of fictional characters. We step in at times without clarity just in it because the person we admire is either good looking or just has an outstanding quality that is used as a foundation for the entire relationship and looks can't carry all the weight of two people plus insecurities, uncertainty, compromise, concern, love, attention, commitment and etc. it builds up like bacteria and then starts destroying it all.  What do I mean? You love each other but there's a limitation. The journey only leads to a motel and never a home, a promise ring that holds no value, a commitment that is insincere. He/She loves you till someone new, who seems better than you comes along and you're ...

Entertainment Avenue: Soap Shocker - Cunning Cousins - Hayley & Randy after the Big Bill, He's been Served! Marquita Goings as Hayley Hamilton / CBS   Hayley Lawson Hamilton portrayed by the stunning Marquita Goings has been having a love-hate relationship with the BTG viewers since her first appearance as Bill's homewrecking wife  or should I say; childbride courtesy of Dani Dupree ? who had to finish off a marriage that was on life support so she can make herself the new Mrs Hamilton. In her own words she claims " I fell in love, it just happened " well nobody bought that, it just wasn't believable no matter how genuine Hayley tried to sound and seem. Dani ( Karla Mosley ) saw right through her but since she was positioned as a bitter and scorned ex, who'd listen to her when she sounds jealous and crazy? Especially when her family wanted her to just move on. As Naomi 's ( Arielle Prepetit ) former best friend, Hayley was close to the ...

Avenue Music: Dagny Takes us to Jupiter with Her Brand New EP!

Avenue Music: Dagny Drops 3 track EP 'Jupiter'  Jupiter Promotional images @Dagnymusic @Dagnymusic Best known for her bright and boasting songs such as Come over, That feeling when, Heartbreak in the making and Strawberry dream . She has a signature sound that is definitely hard to resist because it carries a charm sure to light you up with romance driven deliveries, pizza? Yes with toppings for the heart.  Jupiter gives us a more darker tone in sound, it is truly gripping in gravity as it moves you and keeps you on a very intimate listen, moody atmospheres with well meaning lyrics, Dagny isn't the resident bad girl at all, she's edgy but mostly sincere. Knowing You gives power ballad done right, it sounds like a big budget film with high stakes yet she's just going on about a lover, reminiscing over this echoing beat.  Heavy Tonight, not hooked on the first listen but it definitely carries a specific energy, a familiar piano arrangement that is strong enough to giv...
