International Song Of The Week: Madison Beer gets Electric & Endearingly Conflicted with You're Still Everything...

Avenue Music: You're Still Everything is a Piercing Poignant Moment of Bitter meets Bliss..

This week on Mzansi Avenue we have American Singer-songwriter Madison Beer who is one of the best artists on the scene right now, she's truly evolving and keeping her sound interesting, if you go through her discography there's variety and value of play. Madison Beer has proven herself with records like Dangerous which showcase a rich artistry and range.

You're Still Everything is taken from her 3rd studio album Locket which was released back in January.
The song is like her walking into reality and receiving the biggest blow of clarity, she has an awareness as she sings "I only exist in the moments you're talking to me" noting how she wants more than just a hello. And in therapy you'd be advised to move on but she's wishing and hoping things would be different. The ambient tones, melancholic and brutal take.

It's hard hitting, giving you raindrops and expecting a summer sun bask just to be left frozen cold, no chivalry just shivering. It addresses a theme of unrequited love which is quite prominent in the dating pool, so many mismatches and to hear the delicate, the gentle, the sincere yet hurting and hoping makes this song a very compelling and beautiful standout moment on her discography. 5/5

You're Still Everything serves as the 7th track on the album, written by Beer and produced by Leroy Clampitt. Available on all streaming platforms, Do Check it Out!
