Avenue Music: The Babes Are Back! and Dealing with a "Ghost".

After dropping Jungle. Shook & Weeds they went awfully quiet, everyone was excited for their new era but unfortunately a pause came and things seemed pretty uncertain for Keisha, Siobhan & Mutya who have went through hell and back over legal issues over the band name and given the history of the group as different look lineups were formed till an indefinite hiatus. 

Things changed when they started teasing new music again and their socials with a gorgeous bright yet mustardy yellow to kickoff the long awaited new era, the last lengthy project was 2022's The Lost Tapes which suffered delays as well but was truly worth the wait, with songs such as Today, Flatline, Boys & Victory. 

Ghost comes in as the fourth single, darker, mature and absolutely unapologetic very electric and almost gives you a hypnotic vibe with it's opening beats as Mutya opens it up with a confession of how a past she had buried and moved on from is somehow haunting her as they get Confrontational and set boundaries.

The beat is electric and has a haunting effect which adds to the record, their delivery on the verses is fun, edgy and has them talk-singing, Siobhan and Keisha stand out here as they go back and forth trading lines to some clever writing. The bridge gives Siobhan another moment to put on a vocally chilling performance. 
At first when I heard the reader I thought the song is weaker but boy was I wrong!!!

The chorus is thumping and thrilling, it has this excitement and get on your feet and dance energy about it. I love how it's so singalong and such a party starter, it already sounds like that movie score no one ever gets over!

We can't wait for their brand new album coming out February 12th 2027 with 12 tracks featuring the above mentioned: Weeds, Shook & Jungle.
